30 day poetry challenge: day 26
Internet
When it works, it is brilliant.
Information, once reserved to the rich, is easily accessible
Through a well-thought out keyword or phrase,
And you can watch all the films that you want.
At the touch of the key, or the click of a mouse,
You can do anything.
You can communicate with the close-at-heart
But the far in space.
But when it doesn’t…
My God!
Is it bad.
Curses fly, children cry, adults shout
And have tantrums worthy of toddlers.
Is it really worth it?
